It's been a long time. The past year (or so) has been pretty quiet here on the ZSG front. This little group has been around for almost 5 years, and we've gone through a lot. I am so excited to say that 2017 is going to be one full of adventure, high quality training, and a few surprises!
Before I get too far, I want to take a moment to thank three guys who have consistently held down the fort for me. Bryan and Mark have both put in countless hours planning, organizing, and drinking beer with strangers in order to help this group stay around. Chris has managedmtirelessly our social media presence on Facebook, tricking the FB algorithm more than a few times to bring good information to the masses. Thank you guys so much. Next beer is on me.
So, what's the plan? Out with the old, in with the new! We've got a new look and a new name. "Find The Exits" will always have a special place in my heart, but folks have been calling the group "the ZSG" almost since the beginning. You have to go with the horde, as they say! With the name change came a new website, so take a look around, follow our *brand new* twitter account (@YYCZSG) and re-branded Facebook page (also YYCZSG), and prepare yourself for a membership renewal, aka "The Great Purge." I'll be posting some new events on meetup.com in the next few weeks, so keep your eyes on your email!
For those of you who have just found us: hi! Whether you're interested in the zombie part, or the apocalypse part, or the training part, we're glad to have your interest! Consider putting in an application to join the team. If you want to know what we're about first, we'll be having a Meet & Greet in the next few weeks. Keep your eye on our social media to find out more, or drop me a line!
